The thought of Nancy Pelosi as SOTH and some local elections got me out to vote. But some of my friends wanted to punish the RINO's. It worked! And all of us will pay for the next 2 years. But, hopefully it will be a lesson well learned in 2008 and we will get a REAL conservative to vote for. Unfortunately, the pundits have played this out that we wanted new leadership and a new direction in Iraq. The truth is that we punished the RINO's for bad behavior, for miscarriage of our trust.

And now that Pelosi is SOTH, are your conservative acquaintences realizing the error of their ways? If not, they will continue to be a blessing to the Democrats and thus they will have become just as much a part of the problem as the Dems themselves.

You guys who want to "punish the GOP" or "teach the ubiquitous them, a lesson", do neither! The ONLY thing you and your ilk do, when you can manages it, is to make life a misery for everyone else and help Dems win. And then we get EVERYTHING we do not want and which is often times irreversible.
