Abortion now.
Rudy hates it. Would advise a woman against it but a woman can choose.

Rudy just made his gambit vis a vis PBA on H&C. He opposes it as long as their is an exception for the life of the Mother. :-}
Acknowedges he is pro choice otherwise and accepts Roe as precedential.
Smart guy, maybe too smart by half. LOL

Rudy sounds like he has George W Nixon's speech impediment - he can't say the word, "amnesty."

I strongly believe in the Constitutional process. If guys like Rudy want to infringe on the right to bare arms then I suggest they propose a repeal or modification of the second amendment.
I vote no and would have plenty of "preserve the second amendment bumper stickers" to hand out.

ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH...I'm yelling at the TV.
He is being disingenuous on some of this stuff.
He ought to at least own up to having opposed the partial birth abortion ban, which he is on record doing.
He did at least own up on the Brady Bill. I didn't catch what he said on the AWB. Apparently, he believes in the 2nd Amendment, except in cities. For some reason, I always thought the Constitution applied in all parts of the country.

I was hoping Rudy would do well, but he exceeded my wildest expectation. Hillary has to be shaking in her Gucci shoes. You're going to be yet another northeast liberal who leads her party to defeat, Hillary- and you've got a year and a half to watch it happen in slow motion. I love it!
Lots of time candidates stumble on their answers early in a campaign, but Rudy was in late-season form on all the questions. For those concerned about the gun control issue, Rudy made it clear that he made his decisions in the context of a big city tackling a bad crime problem and that the same answer might not work elsewhere in the country.
That won't satisfy everyone, but it seems like a good answer to me.
I was SO worried Hillary was going to win, but it's as clear as can be that if we nominate this guy he utterly destroys her.

Shawn, being a newyawker himself, likes him, and is throwing "softballs" at him. Meanwhile RINO-rudy is shucking and jiving and NOT answering all of Shawn's questions. Basically, almost a worthless interview.
Face it, RINO-rudy is a serial gun-grabber who would have done the EXACT same thing as New Orleans gun-grabbing government liberals did after a disaster, when law-abiding citizens could count on NO ONE but themselves to protect themselves, and CONFISCATED their firearms.
RINO-rudy is an abortion-supporter, who, in so many words, supports a woman's right to "choose" to murder her child (the same act, that a few short weeks later, rudy-the-prosecutor would've had to charge her for murder in a court of law (or "lar", as this scumbag inner-city liberal RINO pronounce it).

Does anyone know Rudy's family background, his mom and dad, grandparents, ect?
When did they immigrate, and from where?
Thanks!

A bunch of political double talk.
Rudy said that he was against abortion, but was pro "a woman's right to choose." The woman's right to choose he was talking about is her "right" to murder her innocent unborn children in cold blood. Government sanctioned and in some cases taxpayer funded murder of innocent unborn children, and on a mass scale at that, is just about the most evil thing a government can do. There certainly should be no place in America for that.
Furthermore, he says he believes Roe vs Wade is settled law. Roe vs Wade is about the most unsettled law there ever was. In fact it's not even law at all. It was made up out of whole cloth by a handful of liberal activist judges in black robes. Nowhere in any of our founding documents will you find a woman's right to murder or a judges power to make law empowering her to do so.
He says he's against gay marriage, but pro "gay rights." Again, double talk. You won't find mention of any special rights for homosexuals anywhere in the founding documents.
He says he's for the constitution and understands the second amendment but then goes on to say that it was perfectly right for the government to go after guns in large cities. As if the mayor has special right to violate the second amendment? And as if a gun is an evil criminal thing? No way does he respect or even understand our most basic constitutional rights.
And he says he would appoint strict constructionist judges? Well how would he know? He just admitted to completely ignoring the constitution in the three major cases noted above.
And he also stated that he appointed over 100 judges while mayor of NYC. Were they all, or even mostly, or even any at all strict constructionists? Hopefully, we'll be able to find out from the record.
