They have their laws and customs, we have ours. Which is worse - banning alcohol and parties in Saudi or thousands of teenagers having drunken, public, sex at spring break? You choose, they are both moral extremes.

Actually those aren't the only two choices. Adults who choose to drink responsibly and dance are not acting immorally. When there is a choice between freedom and tyranny, I choose freedom.

I wasn't suggesting that those were the only two choices, nor do I condone either.

My point was that each culture tolerates one extreme or the other so we shouldn't be surprised that we find theirs offensive and they, no doubt, find ours the same.
