Yep, all over the state of Indiana. Two hour delays and closings. I think the Super Bowl also provided a good excuse.
My daughter is a 2nd grader in a Catholic school, and last week the Archbishop of Indianapolis declared that all Catholic schools within the Archdiocese were to be closed today on account of the Colts in the Super Bowl, win or lose. So she's enjoying sleeping in...no matter the weather!
Yep. This morning IPS' bus yard workers were out starting the busses when the administration called off school at the last minute - too many bus drivers called in "sick" (see: Drunk or hungover) in order to run all the bus routes.
Most schools were calling 2 hour delays. Though I recall in the past when it was subzero the schools would do a 2 hour delay so the kids wouldn't have to stand outside for a long period of time waiting on the bus.
