When I went through K-12 in Colorado, in 13 years they closed school maybe twice, on account of *real* blizzards. We frequently WALKED to school through snowdrifts in zero-or-below weather. And we loved it! We just dressed warmly, like Kenny... Kids these days, such weaklings (shaking head)

We all have great memories of our youth.While I don't beleieve we had closings any more or less than now, one thing we didn't have were make-up days.Because, since the education system hadn't begun to fail totally yet, we didn't have the minimum days for a school year laws.Which are more feel-good bs.
