The loss loose lose variant in the English language pisses me off :).
This is a continuing outrage. Any and all people responsible for this should be hunted down and killed. The sooner the better.
As long as someone is willing to strap on an explosive belt and walk smiling, into a crowded market with women shopping and children playing and push the button to blow themselves and the innocents back to their basic elements, this will continue ad infinitum. And there is NOTHING......I repeat NOTHING, MILITARILY that we or anyone else, save Jesus Christ HIMSELF, can do to STOP it.

I've long assumed this - feedback from fellow FReepers would be appreciated.

This has been going on for years. Some of the Iraqi people have to know of these plans ahead of time. You would think that the Iraqis themselves would be so sick of these slaughters that they would be turning in these monsters in droves. Yet, that doesn't seem to be the case - or at least not very often.
Is it because the hate for Sunni v. Shia and vice versa is so ingrained that Sunnis won't turn in Sunnis and Shias won't turn in Shias for planning the murder of the other faction?
It apperas they are honing virulent "skills" that will be used elsewhere around the globe. Very scary stuff to me. Iran is behind a lot of this and must be dealt with before things get totally out of hand. The situation IS depressing.

The "Driver" is almost always someone from OUTSIDE the country, convinced by his local imam to go kill..
He arrives, is kept secluded from anyone, tapes his Movie/will(whatever), then gets stoned on thier favorite weed, before being sent to blow himself up...

No. Intermarriage between the 2 sects is very common in Iraqi families. So, it isn't just blind religious hatred. It is political.
AGREE. There will be no negotiated "peace in our time" nonsense with these crazies.
Seeing as to how Islam fosters and encourages such violence within it's own, Ann Coulter was vilified by the press when she wrote,(and I paraphrase) that we need to kill their "Preachers", and Christianize the population.
A good case in point is the allowed survival of "Al Sadar", who has done nothing but caused our US troops immense trouble in the past 2 years.
Now common sense dictates that he and those like him should have been taken out!

I didn't think so.
The Jihadists parents, children,wives or husbands, brothers and sisters, even their dogs and cats should be put to death.
Along with everyone connected with them. That would put an end to this crap real quickly.
