Returning to the WH after the prayer breakfast yesterday. 
On August 31, 2006, in Nashville, Bob Jones and Paul Keith Davis spoke at a conference and referenced a prophetic word they had given on July 6, 1999 (George W. Bush's birthday) in Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas. In 1999 they said the Lord had a choice of who the president would be: he was a burning bush, and this man would not turn against Israel but there would be a foot of troubled waters the whole eight years of his administration. He was the Lord's choice, he was a beginning. He would define marriages, and support three Supreme Court Justices -- if the church got behind him.I post this as a heads up for all who want another eight years of a Dose we can still call Sanity Island!They further said that if the church gets behind this, the Lord will bring forth a second person for the next presidency, another eight years, that would lead this nation back from darkness to light. This righteous person would begin to bring righteousness (justice, morality, and spiritual relationship between God and mankind) back to America. He said, "... the Lord has been preparing a man [later, he clarified this and said "person"], and we need to begin to pray for the next President right now. How this nation goes is not determined by the devil or politics, but by the church -- you." They urged us to be praying now for the third USSC appointment.

These men have functioned at a high level of intercession for America for many decades and have a mature understanding of what to pray; however, if one is not accustomed to hearing prophetic people speak, it can seem somewhat jolting and I recommend fastening the seat belts and reading with the childlike faith Jesus admired. They are proven ministers in the work of the Lord, but, as His word is intended to break new ground, it can at times seem strange to our ears.
Part of the text of Jones' message includes this: " In 2001, there were at least four times that I asked the Church to pray about the buildings that were already bombed once in New York City (the Twin Towers), most of them didn't get a hold of it. And two years before that, I even brought the date, and asked them to mark their calendar--September 11th."
