Army Spc. Ethan Biggers
Rest in peace.

Family's story one of duty, love: Soldier dies a year after being shot in Iraq

Biggers' family stopped trying to keep him alive on Feb. 13. His feedings were halted and all that was left were the goodbyes.

On Saturday, about 1:35 a.m., Ethan died, with Matt holding his hand and Liza at his side.

Spc. Biggers lasted almost eleven days before succumbing to starvation/dehydration. Thanks for your service Soldier. Thanks for fighting for our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I'm sorry we didn't return the favor.

The anniversary of that fateful day approaches in a month. That day would be so significant as to provide cover for inconvenient revelations.

.............................

During the robbery Nichols took boxes of nitromethane, and afterwards he stashed them under his own house in Herington, Kansas. It was in order to implicate Moore in the OKC bombing that Nichols leaked information about this explosives cache in March 2005. Thanks to a tip from the late Stephen Dresch and his colleague Angela Clemente, this story was first reported in full in WND.

According to Rohrbacher, the FBI did not follow up on Nichols' leak "until members of Congress were alerted." As reported here, the FBI delayed four weeks – until late in the day on which Terry Schiavo died – before retrieving the explosives.

The following day, a Friday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced its absurdly lenient punishment of Sandy Berger, a classic "media dump." With Pope John Paul II dying a day later, the media had all the excuse it needed to ignore both stories.

Thanks, BB. How depressing just to read the headline...
