The temptations are almost overwhelming {cough}, but so far, I have not watched one minute of coverage of Anna Nicole nor read anything more than headlines about people going gaga about her. I do not care about her body. In this I am no hypocrite, for I did not care about it even when she inhabited it, bared it and exhibited it for all the kids on the block, pendulating her pendulous secondary sex characteristics.

The only thing that interests me about Anna Nicole is the miraculous siring of her baby by numerous fathers. Lots of kids today don't even have one father. But if you have a billion dollars, you get to have all the fathers you want.

I confess to watching the boob tube, apt for its subject matter, apt for the players. It is the twenty first century iteration of theater, sort of like works of great art being replaced by stick figure drawings. In this case, the appeal was the setting of a Florida probate court and the incredible histrionics of judge and participants. In the end we have a tearful choked-up judge alarming the courtroom, the media, the tabloids, school children and illegal aliens with his stunning announcement of a decision not to make a decision.

In the end he passes the baton to a guardian ad litem he appointed and goes into the bathroom, I can only guess, to weep some more and wash his hands after wringing them. He did come across as sincere in motive and desire to do what is best for the poor half-billionaire child.

My mind went into overdrive photoshopping Judge Greer into that courtroom theater.
