I don't know about anyone else, but I am still waiting for Michael Schiavo to make a correction on his blog about what "actually" took place in Colorado when he went there (to the debate) to supposedly ask Congresswoman Musgrave one question and she and her staff supposedly tried to have him removed. He called it, "My unreal night in Colorado - with radio link" (Thu Oct 26, 2006 at 08:05:14 PM PST). I'll say (from what I read) that it was his "unreal night".

As I said before in "Standing up and Admitting a Mistake: Not Schiavo's Style?",  if four uniformed officers were around my seat, I would have some idea of what was going on. I certainly wouldn't be sitting in "duh mode" to only be told later of what took place right there around me, as Michael suggests he was. If Michael's account is realistic -- his response and reaction is not. Nor is his response appropriate now that he has "learned" what he was "allegedly told" is not what took place. One would think if he can't get the words out that he was mistaken, he could at least have removed the inaccurate entry from his blog.

He has done neither.

I'm also still waiting to read about, "Also, maybe tomorrow I'll post about my election-eve rally with Bill Clinton in Florida." (A real election impact by Michael Schiavo, Thu Nov 09, 2006 at 10:40:34 AM PST).  Indeed, I would love to read that story by Michael, since I read it was not possible. Not if he was implying it was the Bill Clinton that is the former President of the United States. Will be interesting to see what he says about that if he ever does.

If Michael couldn't get it straight what happened at the Musgrave debate or even if he spent election-eve with former President Bill Clinton -- do you suppose he might have gotten Terri Schiavo's wishes mixed-up as well? (He does claim to have a bad memory from what I read.) Makes one wonder. At least makes me wonder. Whatever...

I'm still waiting for the corrections if not the explanations!

Within direct Schindler family experience, he violently attacked, or threatened to attack, his brother (I forget whether it was Scott or Brian); Bobby Schindler; Bob Schindler; and Suzanne Schindler Vitadamo. Big brave man, attacking Suzanne, who is about the size of a sparrow!

No human witnesses to what must have been an attack on his bride. But, to coin a phrase, bone scans don't lie.

We are investigating it right here. It is ongoing and is already a thousand times more thorough than the two policemen in 1990 who poked around for a couple of hours and wandered off. What a farce that was! No forensics at all. They didn't even preserve an original copy of their "report," so the chain of evidence -- if they found any -- is broken.

Moreover, Judge Greer no longer presides over what evidence shall or shall not come to light. We are in the court of history now, and are quite free to look at the sworn testimony and data that Greer excluded. (Most of it!) We have already produced a sound theory of the crime and have a voice to make it heard.

Yes, let's keep some of the other cases at hand. Michael has the classic, controlling, violence-prone personality. Both of his early girlfriends (after Terri's collapse) found him to controlling and they both said specifically that he could be incredibly mean. (We saw that later in his long hatred for the Schindlers.) Cindy Shook also reported that he stalked her and that once he ran her car off the road.

The nurses who filed affidavits all reported him to be domineering, noisy, mean and controlling at their medical facilities. They said he regularly tampered with the charts and medical records. Carla Sauer Iyers was a particularly good witness to his tyrannies. She has an icy clear memory and was contemporaneously willing to put her job on the line to tell the truth. She also risked perjury / obstruction of justice charges, had she lied in reporting Michael to the police in the matter of the suspected insulin injections.

It would be wonderful if Michael Schiavo also could face judgment in a court of law, as well as in the court of history (and, for those who so believe, judgment before God).

Personally, I'm hoping that he will either slip up somehow, or that he will grow a conscience and 'fess up someday. But I suppose that either of those two occurrences isn't very likely.

I nag his conscience more or less every day :-) It may annoy the hell out of him, but that's why I do it -- to get the Hell out of him. If he doesn't make his peace with God now, while he can, he's going to be judged among the goats. That was promised in plain words.

Dr. "Humane Death" Cranford has already died unrepentant. How many more will? Greer? Felos? The Schiavo brothers? Jodi? It's a house of cards waiting for one card to go down...

Bobby Schindler, the brother of the late Terri Schiavo, has endorsed U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., for president and criticized Mitt Romney for saying he disagreed with the government intervening in the Schiavo case. "Mitt Romney's alleged pro-life conversion evidently does not to apply to all human life," Schindler said of the former Massachusetts governor's comments during Political Connections on Bay News 9. "My family will never forget Sam Brownback's valiant efforts to save my sister's life."

The Right Angle's Matt Naugle suggested Romney "should spend some more quality time with his 'pro-life talking points' flash cards" after learning of Romney's disagreement with federal involvement in the Terri Schiavo case. Long ago, we first realized the scope of this topic as we took our handicapped son with us to volunteer for Father Paul Marx at HLI. We keep with us powerful memories of those days of battle. At the time, it was still modest in operation and rife with assaults from the trolls of the day, but Father Marx continued on with great courage. Fr. Euteneuer has carried the banner further.

I am sorry about Sean Hannity, was glad he spent so much time at the vigil, but somehow, even then, there was something not quite right. He didn't completely understand what it was all about. At one point, I thought of approaching him to talk about the essence of what was happening, but realized that not only did he get it wrong, but would carry that misunderstanding nationally on his show.

Jim Gilmore, told the Register that although he believes abortion should be legal through the first eight weeks of a pregnancy, he has strongly supported the pro-life movement in his state, helping to enact various restrictions — including parental notification and a 24-hour waiting period for abortions, a cloning ban and a bill to ban partial birth abortion.

I never held a high regard for the Register Guard when I would read it daily as I was growing up, mostly for the comic strip, am not likely to heed their guidance now.

When is the last time you thought about Terri Schi- avo?

Unless you or a loved one has had a life-threatening illness in the past two years, chances are you haven't given much thought lately to Terri's life or death. Terri's life ended in a Florida hospice on March 31, 2005, after an intense, seven-year "right-to-die" legal battle - 15 years after she had suffered a cardiac arrest at the age of 26.

Whatever our beliefs about Terri's medical condition or legal case, we can benefit from talking with family and friends about what happened to her. And we can act to avoid what could happen if we are unable to speak for ourselves in serious medical situations.

I've met Gilmore a number of times and friends of my family know him very well. Gilmore is qualified for the job, but it will never happen. Gilmore comes across to opponents with an "Eddie Haskell" (from "Leave it to Beaver") level of abrasiveness. He would be far better suited as Attorney General or something like that.
