I don't know about anyone else, but I am still waiting for Michael Schiavo to make a correction on his blog about what "actually" took place in Colorado when he went there (to the debate) to supposedly ask Congresswoman Musgrave one question and she and her staff supposedly tried to have him removed. He called it, "My unreal night in Colorado - with radio link" (Thu Oct 26, 2006 at 08:05:14 PM PST). I'll say (from what I read) that it was his "unreal night".

As I said before in "Standing up and Admitting a Mistake: Not Schiavo's Style?",  if four uniformed officers were around my seat, I would have some idea of what was going on. I certainly wouldn't be sitting in "duh mode" to only be told later of what took place right there around me, as Michael suggests he was. If Michael's account is realistic -- his response and reaction is not. Nor is his response appropriate now that he has "learned" what he was "allegedly told" is not what took place. One would think if he can't get the words out that he was mistaken, he could at least have removed the inaccurate entry from his blog.

He has done neither.

I'm also still waiting to read about, "Also, maybe tomorrow I'll post about my election-eve rally with Bill Clinton in Florida." (A real election impact by Michael Schiavo, Thu Nov 09, 2006 at 10:40:34 AM PST).  Indeed, I would love to read that story by Michael, since I read it was not possible. Not if he was implying it was the Bill Clinton that is the former President of the United States. Will be interesting to see what he says about that if he ever does.

If Michael couldn't get it straight what happened at the Musgrave debate or even if he spent election-eve with former President Bill Clinton -- do you suppose he might have gotten Terri Schiavo's wishes mixed-up as well? (He does claim to have a bad memory from what I read.) Makes one wonder. At least makes me wonder. Whatever...

I'm still waiting for the corrections if not the explanations!

The problem is that most living wills, advance medical directives, etc. are kept by a family member. So, the likelihood is that Michael would have been the person who had any documents and I have no doubts that he would have destroyed them to suit his desires. For all we know, Terri DID have a living will and Michael just didn't tell anyone and instead chose to "remember" a conversation in which she confided in him alone that she really did want to be killed.

Yeah I know, I've been told by many "esteemed" FReepers that Michael Schaivo was just a loving husband (never mind the fact that he was living with another woman who bore his children) trying to make the best of a horrible situation. According to these FReepers, it was the evil villains in the pro-life movement who were "manipulating" the Schindlers in an attemt to make a "nanny state" out of America.

I swallowed hard a few times to hold down my gorge and got Michael's book. Squandered one dollar on it, in like-new condition, from a used book dealer. It must have stopped selling at Amazon pretty quick :-)

I haven't had time to read anything -- and that's going to take a lot more swallowing -- but I have to say, his photos are the best I've seen. Including a careful pose of Michael piously putting flowers on her grave. Sheesh.

(I wonder what they did with the private photos of him urinating on her grave. Jodi probably has those posted on the refrigerator)

I think you are on to something. Could be the New Republic just lifted some stuff from the Rudy threads here and cobbled them together. Since all are singing to the same music it is a real job to differentiate who is who. Must have been something posted yesterday, today being Wednesday, it would have been the Rudy Tuesday threads.

"Adequate responses received [by March 19] will be taken into consideration in determining whether audit action will be initiated," the FEC wrote Michael on February 16. "Requests for extension of time will not be considered."

"Failure to provide an adequate response by this date may result in an audit of the committee," the FEC wrote, adding that "enforcement action" may be taken if Schiavo doesn't respond in time.

See #511 in light of the Rudy thread tonight. That place looks like an exploding ammunition dump. I don't recall ever seeing so much abuse of the rules and spirit of forum get by the mods -- and this with JimRob present.

As we note from time to time, people who call other people names are announcing that they have no facts or arguments to offer. They may as well be looking in a mirror when they spout off. What they say about others is what they themselves are guilty of.

I haven't yet looked at that thread today but it is fascinating how the freeper sleepers just can't help themselves. They just have to respond with their true nature regardless of consequences. This is so, so troll.

I am tickled about the thread as it has galvanized so many and has allowed so many who view the threads to see the ugly side of the closet liberals.

As we move into March, the Easter season marking the final assault on Terri two years ago, may we recall the lessons we learned.

I am deviating from the usual pattern today to ping all to a thread which goes to the core of why we are here in the first place. I am deviating as well in not pinging that thread to us.

As true conservatives, our numbers are few and the pseudo-conservative numbers are great in such confrontations. However we may prevail as we have our strength from Above, so long as we keep faith. This thread unmasks many of those types, many of whom we dealt with on our own Terri threads and elsewhere. They differ from zottable trolls only in degree, and respond as trolls do, just unable to resist showing their colors when riled. As we have experienced in the past, resident trolls and their packs from places like the now defunct clownposse swarm as teams, cutting victims away to massacre them. We are not like that and not prone to arrive on such sites as a tag team.

I have been lurking there, and have resisted the powerful temptation to dive into the topic and score a scalp or two. Likewise, I am not advising any to go pick fights there, but to observe the dark adversaries facing Jim Robinson. It may better strengthen our own resolve and galvanize us against the evil which presses against us.

We have been fortunate in recent months to be relatively free of these detractors on our own threads although we bump into them elsewhere and I hope we are not magnets to draw them to our own threads.

Terri and her legacy are a lighthouse even in the darkest of night. May she continue to inspire us in our epic battle of good versus evil.

The thread is long and laden with strong language and attack as the DU and Daily Kos lookalikes use every trick from Karl Marx's playbook. Most every KGB technique we know of appears in this long thread, so be advised. Rather than grow disheartened at the vague forces against us, we may gain cheer from the unmaskings and understand what is truly our enemy, not just Terri's Legacy, but that of our America.
