If Rudy believes in abortion rights and gay marriage as he says,then how can he in good conscience appoint strict constructionists.

Rudy is against gay marriage!! Secondly, gay marriage is a state issue, the President has no power over marriage. As far as strict constructionist go, Rudy says he supports strict constructionist without a litmus test, which is fair. Not all strict constructionist agree 100% of the time. Scalia and Thomas only agree about 90% of the time in the non-unanimous court decisions.
