Giuliani does not roll with the god squad.

"In 2004, white evangelical or born-again Christians made up a quarter of the electorate, and 78 percent of them voted Republican, according to exit polls."

By throwing out the God squad, you effectly alienate 25% of the voters and a majority or near majority of those that vote for Republicans. Are you sure this is the best we can do?

Having an evangelical christian in the White House wasn't enough to bring them out to vote in 2006, and it wont be enough in 2008. It's not the religion that matters, its the person, and the performance.
