"That is not a hair question."
"That is also not a hair question."
These guys are kind of funny.
"Agreed. Littering at best. "
Kerry is applying for another Purple Heart and Silver Cross for bravery in the face of a threat.
Kennedy asked for another bottle of Vodka.
Could it be an Al Qaeda targeting vector?
What's a bomb look like? I ask only for information.
"What's a bomb look like? I ask only for information."
If the bottom of it is wrapped in black tape with wires hanging out of it and its fixed on the busiest bridge in Boston - it may be, to some, to look like a bomb.
You didn't make a bomb. You don't know how to make a bomb.
You claimed "i loaded it up with gunpowder and blew it up", it won't work like that, and you need to quit trying to BS your way through this.
In the manner you described the powder will simply burn rather quickly, though the result will be at best a melted light brite case. I know how to use explosives, many, many kinds of explosives, and it's obvious that you do not. So take the BS down a notch. K?
Based on what expertise? Before you answer: being terrorised by your government and whipped into a panic by the media don't count as expertise.
"Ah, yeah but they were on bridges and highway overpasses."
Yes, they were.
If MA or Boston regulations prohibit it, advertising on a bridge or overpass constitutes a civil violation and might be worthy of a fine, not a city-wide panic and jail time.
It's a glowing sign clearly depicting a cartoon figure - one which is popular enough to have multiple DVD sets sold in electronics stores nation-wide. Ya know, I thought we (conservatives) were the people in favor of common sense. No, I *know* we're the people in favor of common sense. Common sense indicates that a few dumb glowing signs do not constitute a national emergency, and vigilance about terrorist threats does not mean behaving like a ninny.
Yes, the signs are dumb. The show is dumb. The kids who put these things up are dumb - I didn't expect that Boston's brain trust would go out in the winter to put up ads as a side job.
But the people who are paid to *not* be dumb were also dumb, which is why this is a big issue today.
You DON'T think this harmless "advertser" looks like a kid???
Two things come to mind after seeing this 'harmless anti-establishment cartoon advertising hero ":
"Ya know, I thought we (conservatives) were the people in favor of common sense."
Ah yeah, and we're also the party of National Security and strong defense. Maybe you didn't see the close up on the local affiliate. The bottom of these "signs" were covered in black electrical tape with wires hanging out of them. Some of them were not easily reached or visible. I think the local authorities didn't overreact. They erred on the side of caution as they had to. Nobody in Boston is laughing at these two nitwits.
I'd stick the contents of the "little white bags" to the underside of the "harmless cartoon", and use the garage door opener in the second pick to make the cartoon "come alive":
I think a pint of gas and a Zippo would work too.
It was like a Simpson's episode.
People in Boston must be really stupid.
And your IED post is addressed to me because?
Lunatic, you hit the nail on the head...the people that put up these clever ads were NOT TRYING TO MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE EXPLOSIVE DEVICES ! Some authorities mistook them for such, hence the resulting mess.
"Ahhhh...Achmed!....Our next bomb we have planted will have "litebrite" front on it! Foolish americans will walk past and laugh!"
I'm not kidding here.
FMCDH(BITS)
I haven't watched it in about a year, but I know what I will be watching tonight at 11:00PM and 11:15PM (Central) time tonight. That is if it is still on at the same time.
