While the polls are not entirely believable or always accurate they are useful and good for provoking discussion.
Hence when one starts screeching that they are the media's attempt to get the nomination for someone it HATES it becomes clear that the screecher is a nitwit.

No one who knows anything about politics would doubt that McCain and Guiliani are currently the leading candidates and lagging the field are those without name recognition such as Hunter, Hagel and other 1%ers. This does not require a lot of analysis.

Of course, YOU prefer to believe that the Free Republic represents mainstream politics.

And rather than admit the candidate has no appeal you would blame ME? How lame can you get? How could the pitifully tiny RINO population stop a juggernaut like Hunter when ALL those conservatives out there hiding in the electorate want him?

Oh, and the little lie you tried to slip in "McGuiliRomney is at the top of the pile not based on their conservative credential" cannot be allowed to pass. No one has claimed their appeal is based on conservativism quite the contrary, as has been REPEATEDLY stated, their appeal is based upon their ability to draw people who are NOT conservatives. Unless that is done NO Republican can win.

BTW you can remove Romney from your slander line. He ain't going anywhere.

Are you a conservative? If so, why would you advocate for(IN THE PRIMARY SEASON)someone you describe as a non-conservative to represent a political organization with whom you identify?

If you are not than why don't you read the very first paragraph on the FreeRepublic home page.

Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America. And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!

Why don't you go and post on Republicans4Liberalism.com or some other website.
