FR is in a deep paranoia funk. It's not all about leftists. There are problems in the world that aren't MSM inventions.

Denial is right. Our military is stretched thin, because we tried to fight a war on the cheap. We're screwing the troops to save some cash, then blaming the media when things don't go well. America needs a bigger, better funded military, or we need fewer global commitments. Otherwise we're setting them and ourselves up for failure.

And blaming someone else for it.

I actually heard one caller to a radio show opine that there shouldn't be such critical analysis of the troop "surge", since any soldier could just refuse to go if they didn't want to.
