Do you honestly think that 19 an hour is an appropriate wage for this job?

Considering the profitability of the indudtry, this could be another industry that is better suited for offshore.

Do you think that someone who has gone from $19/hour to $11/hour, and then sees the guy from Home Depot get fired and still get $50 million - do you think he's gonna start to question free market economics?

The corporatists have to realize that if working stiffs aren't getting at least a sliver of increased productivity, they sooner or later might well say screw the whole lot. And support some deranged socialist like Chavez.

There's a lot of expense in shipping animals from the mid west offshore. Chickens in crates start dropping like flies if you have to ship them more than a couple hours. Beef do better but they need a lot of care to ride a couple days.
