- It's called the First Amendment.
- We don't give a damn about their little hissy fits.
- Stage a rally specifically for the troops or the flag and you'll see a better turnout.

The First Amendment is not an excuse for spitting on a wounded Iraq vet.

Don't be an idiot. Spitting on someone is not called the First Amendment.

It's called the First Amendment.

In my world it would get your @ss kicked sideways!
I'm sorry I wasn't there. I am in Montana so it's a bit far. If there is ever one of these in Helena or Great Falls I will be bringing Mrs Bear for the "Party."

Stage a rally specifically for the troops or the flag and you'll see a better turnout. Like the one Glenn Beck did at the beginning of this war

Been there, done that. Didn't happen. But, thanks for the laugh.

Stage a rally specifically for the troops or the flag and you'll see a better turnout. I see you are new here! BTW, rallying FOR the flag won't make a damn bit of difference if we do not have a country!

Their "little hissy fits" have a real impact on society. If they're not answered, stupid people -- and that's a lot of people -- think that's where most of the country is. The liberal Rats gain more confidence and get even bolder and louder. And we don't get the kind of practice we need. Positive rallies for the troops are great, but, like most easy things, they aren't enough. We need to do the hard stuff too, like counterdemonstrate against the traitorous Rats.

1. The First Amendment doesn't allowing for sedition, treason, etc.
2. You better "give a damn about their little hissy fits". We all better, because the cost is too great not to. One Vietnam was one too many. These people advocate the overthrow of our government by removing GW, and the undermining of America period.
3. Better turnout for the troops and flag? Hardly. I'm down to myself and another person. Kristinn, the author of this piece, is fairing far better. However, when was the last time you saw THOUSANDS of people stand up for this country and its' defenders? I'd love to see that and be a part of it. Let me know when it is scheduled.

When one Freeper counterprotests the Left, I have seen the media completely change the story they planned to report.
When one Freeper counterprotests the Left, I have seen their carefully laid plans thrown into disarray.
When one Freeper counterprotests the Left, I have seen them become so angry that anyone dare oppose them that they embarass themselves in public and minds are won to our side.
When one Freeper counterprotests the Left, what he does has mattered deeply to soldiersand their families.
When one Freeper counterprotests the Left, and keeps it up week after week, I have seen their numbers dwindle until they are so desperate to stop his simple campaign that they try to have him arrested for exercising his free speech rights.
That's what I've seen. I doubt you've been in the field enough to have seen much, but maybe I'm wrong. Tell me why these guys are wasting their time again?

1 Where in the first Amendment does it give you the right to spit upon a serviceman, or give aid and comfort to our enemies?
2 You better give a damn about their hissy fits, they're burying us.
3 Bullshit. this is aout the flag and our servicemen

I agree.
We need a march for W and Iraq vets.
I had very interesting conversation with a black man from Kenya last night. He absolutely loves George Bush, supports him 100 percent. People in Kenya know what is at steak, and appreciate what we are doing. Killing terrorists by the tens of thousands every year.
To: Enosh
The First Amendment does not confer upon one the right to spit upon a veteran, or any other individual, for that matter.
Omit every word after "damn". And you get a truer picture.

It's called the First Amendment. Which reads: Congress shall make no law . . ..
It doesn't say a thing about what you have to put up with, or what you can or have a duty to do.
