Amen to your words.
For all you too far away, with the Dems in control of both Houses, the excuse of being too far away won't cut it any more. The libs and communists/socialist groups are emboldened.
The U.S.A. needs you now more than ever.
The D.C. Chapter needs you more than ever. We can't do it alone.
I challenge all supporters of the troops and fellow conservatives to come counter an already planned March 17 antiwar rally by the moonbats. They plan to start at the Vietnam Memorial and march to the Pentagon. Organize bus transportation and pick up others on your way in.
Jeez, since not enough people voted to keep Republicans in control of at least one House, the troops and us all are paying for it now.

If I had been closer, I would have attended. I posted to people in the Lake County, Indiana area to see if there might be some people who would be interested in joining me there to show our support for the troops, because the protesters are growing in numbers every Saturday but there was not one reply.
But what do we expect? If they won't vote to keep the Democrats out of power, then why on earth would we expect Stay at home Conservatives to get out of the bubble and stand up for their country and our Troops?
Yeah, I'm ticked. This is dangerous and I for one have not had such a concern for this country like I have at this time.

You have reason to be angry about the turnout.
That said, having health problems that preclude my walking and especially standing for any great length of time, I'd try to be with you guys for just a little while if I had a shorter drive than 5 hours. Especially on a weekend because I work too. Point being, everyone has their own story.
I've posted my admiration and awe of the DC FReepers. That is completely sincere.

It's tough when they get money to bus in their protestors. At least we can honorably say...we fund ourselves.
I've been downtown to see those idiots spout their hatred of the President, the war, SUV's...you name it. Their language is usually foul so it's not good to have kids around.
As I said Saturday morning...I attended the 'family friendly' FReep in Olney.

With that I agree.
