So if someone wanted to dump a pail of paint on (or spray paint) Lincolns statue at the Lincoln Memorial, the First Amendment would allow them to do it? This is nuts.

Interesting that the USCP didn't respond. I'd figure that they were obligated to, and would want to.

Perhaps someone who 1)agreed with the protestors, and 2)had the authority to tell the police to back, down did just.

Let's see... who could that be? Just guessing.
