jeeez, Specter actually used the Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam genocide as a GOOD thing for us to repeat????
Once a traitor...always a traitor. Kerry needs to be prosecuted for this!
The one item not considered is charisma. This could be why, without any real experience or a record to run on, Obama scared the heck out of Hillary. He started getting money Hillary was counting on and the press was falling in love with him.
If anything, Wallace will use that interview to claim he's hard on Democrats.
They had a whole segment on that on Fox News a few minutes ago.
Carl Cameron called it her first "slip up"...in that, she laughed after referring to "evil, bad men"...and when asked about it by the MSM after her speech, she didn't answer the question, when she was asked who she was thinking about when she laughed.
However, Carl said, at the beginning of the presser, she said she was being serious...but later, when asked again about it..she said she was kidding because her "people" have been telling her to lighten up, and not come across as so serious.
Carl pointed out that she did NOT answer the question, and changed her reason for laughing...but, he excused her, because he then said, "She is a politician, and a good one, that is how the deal with these problems"....blech
pitiful!
There is a video on Utube of Hunter with Blitzer. Hunter is terrific, speaking his mind in a strong, no um,er-ing manner. He kept on talking when interrupted, something few pubbies do and asked Wolfe the all important question about who does he want to win in Iraq.
I think that this actually took place in October 2006, though I just came across a link to it here on Freerepublic yesterday. I was very impressed.
You are very right...the GOP need to start being on the OFFENSE against Hillary and the rest of the Dems..
They need to use this attempt to thwart Gen. Petraeus and jon carry's words in Davos...
Barring another 9/11-type attack here or in Europe, Hunter and other conservatives who may join the fray in 2008 face the 'short memory' syndrome of Americans generally and really poorly educated post boomer generations who view life as a reality show or a video game.
My fear is that as history typically telescopes at sonic speeds, we will substitute our remaining vestiges of judgment and common sense for a ticket of the brainless and spineless whose only attribute is making moronic talk show hosts look brilliant.
Did you hear the new about the 160 arrested for police badges??
Heads up.
Inside Saddam's Reign of Terror
National Geographic Channel is airing Inside Saddam's Reign of Terror tonight at 9 PM Central.
For 24 years, Saddam Hussein and his Baath Party executed political rivals, Shias, Kurds and anyone else who dared disagree - or even tell a joke about the dictator. A chorus of testimonials, unearthed mass graves and discovered documents now reveal theextent to which Saddam and his Baath Party tortured, maimed, raped and murdered Iraqi citizens. As he faces trial for his crimes, NGC goes inside his reign of terror - with rare videotape that shows Baath Party members carrying out Saddam's brutal laws.
This is an amazing documentary that tells of the evils of Saddam's brutal regime. Yunis Haji is one Iraqi who lived to tell about the nightmare of being buried alive in one of Saddam's mass grave. One mass grave that was inspected had 3,000 Shia bodies. Unbelievable!
If we had a more responsible media here in America we would know these stories.
How sad.
Also go to Gateway to see the great job he did on Freepers countering at the anti-war march.

Yes...I did.
Shades of the military uniforms being stolen in Iraq.
That is very scary.
Thanks for the heads up.
Also, tonight on Hannity's new show...he is supposed to show the footage that Clinton insisted be edited out of that movie about the run up to 9/11.

I took the picture that someone has posted here and can tell you I didn't capture even a third of the crowd. It's so hard to estimate the total number of individuals who participated because there were just so many it was not possible to view even half at a time. Even at the rally, the participants were so numerous they stretched out of site beyond what I could film.
Via the good LT at Jawa Report.
Meanwhile, the MSM tries its damned best to ignore the lawsuit and scandal enveloping one of Hillary's largest campaign contributors. Here's the 50-page official filing from the California Superior Court.

You mean the anti-Martin Sheen?
What a great picture of President Bush. He is a genius in making people feel at ease. Too bad he is a failure at defending himself from false accusations.
