I will always believe Rudy's exit from the 2000 Senate race served the higher purpose of having him as mayor for the events of 9/11. He was the right man for that time. However, as much as I'd like to see him go head to head against Hillary, I don't believe he's the best choice for the Republican nomination for President. The Giuligolos can try to convince me why I'm wrong.

It's simple. Rudy or Mcain are the only ones in the pack who can beat Hillary and the national media. The question is......who else in the pack can beat Hillary, and why do you think they can win? In 2008 pure ideology just won't do it. Let's face reality, it's either Rudy or McCain. I'll go with the person I can trust, Rudy.

You are free to support whoever you like. There will be those who support Rudy. Others will support Romney. Some McCain - some Hunter. That's life.
