That's only half true. Goldwater was, in his later career, pro-choice and pro-gay, that's true, but he wasn't always that way.
And I've seen no evidence that Goldwater hated Reagan, but Nixon is true. He hated Nixon because he was far too liberal. Nixon was to the WH what Arnold has become to California: good ideas, usually, but tries to appease the left. It never works.

This is a point that seems to get lost in all the talk about abortion. Giuliani is even to the left of many Canadians on gun registration, who are trying to abolish their gun registry.
He would be a disaster as a candidate, because his many liberal/leftist views would pretty much guarantee a significant third-party candidate.

They cannot, but actively supporting and promoting the lifestyle the way Rudy has makes it easier for them to try to normalize it, and allows them more accesss to young children, and do sick stuf like teaching fisting to kids in schools like GLAD/GLSN doesn in newton and other massachusetts towns.

For me, it's quite the opposite. I'd like to learn all hunters weak points ahead of time before I debate some Lib. Freepers are great at this, and I'd like to see some of it, if there is anything to beat hunter down on.
