My prayers are with Carrie & all of you!
Head injuries such as these are especially hard for me, as it has been almost a year that we lost Daddy to such an injury. My heart breaks knowing that someone and their family are going through this.
Keep talking to her. There will be times when she won’t be there. She will be in a place recovering, and the medical folks may say that she’s not coming back. Then she will show you something that proves them wrong, like a slight squeeze of the hand, or even opening her eyes. They just don’t understand.
God bless Carrie, and all of you! Stay strong! And please, know that there are going to be things that you all say or do because of the stress. It is the stress talking, and not the reality. Be there for each other, as well as Carrie. Take care.
Dear oav, thank you for praying for Carrie and the family. She has come a long way since January 25 when the accident occurred, is out of her coma, at home now, stable, and slowly continues to improve.
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. I know that time can never really quite fill in the space left when such a close, and loved, relative departs. I pray the Lord is palpably present for all your family in all that you need.
