I have a book called 'Texas Connection' that does a very good job of tying LBJ to the Kennedy assassination.
At the time Kennedy was killed my Dad said, "Well, Johnson wanted to be president awfully bad."

At the time Kennedy was killed my Dad said, "Well, Johnson wanted to be president awfully bad."My father made a similar statement at the time. It was believable at the time and still is. Johnson was a completely ruthless political animal and such an act was certainly not beyond his capabilities.
