Nifong may need a new attorney. I believe the above is a violation of the NC Cannons of ethics. He does not need to be making such self-serving statements outside the hearing room. He does not need to try to defend himself at the expense of obviously innocent people who are still under indictments brought by his office. I hope someone here who lives in NC will write the NC Bar pointing out this addition ethics violation on the part of Nifong.

Not that I care in any way what happens to Mike Nifong, but he has found himself in a hole and he needs to stop diggin'. At this rate he'll be serving time in China.

Shaking my head yet again at Nifong...Who cares what he "believes" Based on what for God's sake? IOW, it is based on his feelings and his beliefs, facts be shot to hell.
