Rats! WRAL isn't carrying it on its website, so I'm stuck with Court TV. But it does have a great picture of Nifong on its site.

http://wral.com/news/local/story/1177453/

He doesn't look quite as cocky as he did when he was at the scheduling hearings on the Duke case. Heh!

Tell us what's going on. Or what went on. The hearing just concluded.

Watching these two is brutal. No surprise they're related. It shows.

Sometimes a DA "forgets". LOL.

I perfectly with you; however, the MSM has had a fun ride milking this hoax. Nifong and the MSM were a love pair throughout this entire Hoax. I hardly think it will stop.

CGM, plans to write a book or go on Oprah.

Kim is probably still hunting for the right agent to sell her story.

Even from jail could Nifong write his "How it happened on my watch"; and have City Council and Durham feature his book in schools and the libraries.

There's no end to the possibilities of what pegs and "future career income" potentials these hoaxers have up their sleeves, yet.

CGM, plans to write a book

That would be great. Each chapter could be a different version of her story.

That Golston bunch is really something. I noted two Goldston's in the HS this morning who were involved in shootings.

From what I hear, his first wife worked to put him through law school. Once finished he apparently abandoned her and an infant and took off with someone else.

That's the local rumor anyway.

With appeals, this case was in the courts for about six years; Nifong's biggest case? For six years he related to the victim's family.

Could it be another the reason he personally took on the Duke lax case, his ties to the family?

And he abandoned his infant daughter as well.

Nifong was to appear with his attorney

According to Nifong himself - if you're innocent, why would you need an attorney?

That was classic. Thank you Fox News for getting some public humiliation payback for the lacrosse players who have been knowingly railroaded by that piece of trash Nifong.

He brought the full force of the government's coercive authority against 3 innocent men in order to improve his chances of being elected. This force includes the power to arrest, to jail, to send the armed instruments of the government (police) after someone, and in case of resistance, to kill.
Along with the power goes responsibility, which Nifong did not exercise. Anyone who misuses this power does not deserve the support of the government, in fact, he deserves to be arrested and put in jail.

Next up, charges should be leveled against the woman that started this whole mess.
