I think I pay more than $5000 a year for just my payments into the plan -- that doesn't include the money my employer pays, which I think is 3 times that. It is quite possible I'm getting $20,000 a year of medical insurance.
But I admit it's a pretty good insurance.

The cost of mine is about 10,000/yr family and that is with a union involved. Any out of pocket gets run through a 125 plan so it is pre-tax. You can run over the counter meds through the 125 like vitamins, aspirin, etc.
