I don't understand the FoxNews analysis of Webb's speech -- generally praising it. I thought he came across as angry and brutish.
I don't know about the brutish thing but Britt Hume did get Webb all wrong. Webb's speech was disjointed, contradictory and full of blatant false assertions. What I've come to expect from democrats.
Webb's an 80s "republican", and the guys on Fox seem to like that about him. It's one of the things that made running against him hard -- every attack pretty much backfired as people thought we were democrats attacking a republican.
