I don't care how the President pronounces nuclear. I just wish he could just say no to amnesty and giving illegals citizenship. His program, if enacted, will give citizenship to 12-20 million illegals, most of whom will vote Democrat. Good bye conservatism and any hope of restoring our republic to its foundational principles/
Um, he did say that.
That was the senate plan. Bush never said he supported that plan, he was hoping the house would fix it in conference, but the house punted (partly because of the "no compromise" wing led by tancredo) and mistakenly thought they could ride the wave of anti-illegal hysteria to a majority.
Oops. Now we will get amnesty, unless Bush vetos, and idon't know if he cares enough to do so, but I'm praying for him.
