I have a HSA and it works very well for me! I love it!
The cooelest thing about HSA's is that it eliminates all the administrative meddling in approving procedures.
All thos administrators cost money and cut into your health dallar. Some one has to pay their salarys.
Melanie Hobson was just explaining (on ABC) how the proposed health care tax credit will work also. Those single persons who buy their own health insurance ... pay the total premium, no employer subsidy ... will be able to claim a $7,500 tax credit.
That would be a boon to the self-employed and owners of small businesses.
