Agreed. I was particularly impressed with the foreign policy part of his speech.

Yes, the president was great tonight. I was reassured that he has not lost his resolve, nor been in the least intimidated by the RATS or unduly affected by the faint hearts in his own party. I found his speech easy to follow and appreciated the absence of rhetorical soaring that critics consider the measure of success/failure for any speech by President Bush. He knows what he is talking about, has a firm grasp on the reality of the situation in Iraq, and also on the opposition of his enemies at home. I have so much respect for this President. We can only pray that his successor is cut from the same cloth of integrity, loyalty to America, and has the same rock solid stamina that will endure throughout their presidency.
