From his Humvee, Sergeant Rieman returned fire and used his body as a shield to protect his gunner. He was shot in the chest and arm, and received shrapnel wounds to his legs, yet he refused medical attention, and stayed in the fight. He helped to repel a second attack, firing grenades at the enemy’s position. For his exceptional courage, Sergeant Rieman was awarded the Silver Star. And like so many other Americans who have volunteered to defend us, he has earned the respect and gratitude of our whole country."

Just because it's been happening for a hundred years doesn't mean it is right to continue. This president, then a candidate, told the people of San Diego "we've got to enforce our borders." He has not.

I'm actually crying here...
But it is even more striking -
Carter betrayed our country.
Clinton brought criminal corruption to our country and endangered the lives of millions through his indifference to the growing terrorist danger....
President Bush HAS restored honor to the Presidency, HAS brought us two tremendous improvements in the US Supreme Court, HAS taken us from the desperate hours right after 9-11-01 through six years of recovery and resurgence and taking the war to the enemy - without another strike against our country!
He and our brave troops have brought freedom from tyranny to two nations.
We did have tax cuts and our economy has low inflation, low interest rates, and solid stock market gains.
He has been a wonderful President and I am very proud to have supported him twice with vigor.
The Dems are moving to destroy this nation with every gain they make in power across this nation.
I am just concerned about anything that is going to put more of a tax burden on anybody - except, as I said - billionaires and government employees - esp members of Congress!
