Democrats: Bush no longer in charge
Jan 23 5:55 PM US/Eastern
Democrats are trying to drown out President George Bush's State of the Union message by making clear he and his Republican allies are no longer in charge of national policy, especially on Iraq.
"They don't have a plan," Democratic Senator Jim Webb told reporters in a preview of his party's response to Bush's speech. "What they have put on the table is more a tactical adjustment."
Democrats have not agreed on a plan for Iraq either, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said the burden of finding a solution rests on the White House.

Why just the Democrats come out and pass a resolution surrenduring the country to Osama and inviting him to take over the white house.

Democrats have not agreed on a plan for Iraq either, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said the burden of finding a solution rests on the White House.
Then they tell the White House to solve the problem...
Come on Dems....pony up that plan you promised America you had.

I would suggest the Dems read the Constitution. Bush is "in charge" until Jan 20, 2009.

Filled with confidence and false sense of 'mandate' from the American people, my prediction is that the Dems will be chock full of themselves, that we could see both a very cold and very vociferous opposition response to his speech complete with boos and zero, or very few, standing O's from the Dems.
Loudest standing applause will be when Pelosi stands before Congress to introduce the President.
This is not going to be pretty tonight folks.

Be careful Webb is a hero to some Marine FReepers. They don't care how psychotic and warped he is.
