That is interesting information. Were you a kid when it happened, or were you old enough then to understand the full impact of what was going on? It must have been pretty spooky for you, in any case, to be that close to Oswald's house.

I was 6, first grade and really with that happening in Nov it was THE first real event I recall. I can see and hear it like yesterday: the overhead speaker came on, the principle made an announcement and it went to radio, the teachers started crying, we all started crying. My big concern was my Dad was in Dallas and I was afraid he would be killed also. Oswalds house was just about 5 houses down from our church
