I thought that Pluto had been "de-planetized" by the astronomical community.

It is considered a dwarf planet along with about 8 others in our solar system.

I would have said "decanonized". One way to define a planet is by roster, which is what the IAU did despite their squirrelly explanation. The roster is essentially canonical, not descriptive.
