I still support Bush on the war. I'll agree that he has dumped on conservatives; but frankly the whole republican establishment has done that. Elect us because we suck less than the other party is no kind of strategy. That cost them in November and they are still out there spouting the same stuff.

There is a great thread on here which I should have bookmarked. It has a laundry list of Bush's accomplishments and there are a lot of them. Bush has always puzzled me because on one hand he has stood pretty much pro-life. On the other hand he has been liberal in regards to things like CFR and spending the taxpayers' coin. He was a lightning rod after 9/11 but not long after declared Islam "the religion of peace"; words sure to go down alongside Neville Chamberlain's "peace in our time".

I always supported Bush on the war, except the prosecution of the war has been disastrous. Hopefully, with the new team in place, this will change.
