Ok folks let's not get too excited.
All these items are flotsam and under British law belong to the owners. These people are no better than theives and looters.
As much as I'd like to, if I got my hands on something of value it would be to preserve it for the rightful owner, assuming that could be ascertained. In this case, the answer to that would be rather obvious.
It's sort of a "golden rule" thing.
