"Pats were due for some bad calls against them."

I was surprised the announcers didn't make a bigger deal out of the no-call on what looked like pass interference in the end zone, late in the game, when the Pats had to settle for a field goal. I thought the receiver was mugged, and the announcers hardly said a thing. (And, no, I'm not a Pats fan.)

On that play, I asked the guys next to me (at the game) if that might've been a missed call. One said was confident that it was a clean play... then we all started whistling and glancing at our watches. ;^)

Sadly, the refs once again made themselves part of the story in the playoffs.
