Does anyone here have a bio on Haley Barbour? It's probably not even a blip on his radar screen but how does he stack up against the other contenders? Would that not be interesting : Haley Barbour, US President; chosen by the people before he really knew it? (Forest Gump?)

I know Haley was the head of the RNC for the years of the Republican takeover. I know he then became Governor of Mississippi and did a fine job for the state re Katrina. He's an excellent speaker and a wise man. His Conservative credentials are terrific, yet he's also a pragmatist. I could really support him, and I think he'd be the best man for the Reps now.
