there's a lot more that goes into gasoline prices than the current cost of crude oil. That's what we're being told NOW, now that the price of crude is falling. But when crude goes up and we get gouged at the pump, the price of crude is the controlling factor.

Weren't we to have investigations into just such gouging? I guess all the oilcos got scared and lowered the prices quick . I wonder if taxpayers are continuing to fund such investigations?
