Pleae pull my last post. I did not realize that you were piggy-back posting and I do not intend to ruin the thread for everyone with my post. It's not appropriate for the dose.
Thanks
Lol well, at least they're having fun. :)
Sorry I'm so late getting the update posted today. Couldn't be helped.
Per your request, I'm asking the Admin Moderator to pull your post #180, but also Common Tator's post #174, which is the one to which you responded.
In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with either post, but you're right. We try as best we can to keep such discussions off the Dose. I'm asking that they be pulled only so that they don't set an unwanted precedent on the Dose.
Thanks - I copied it and sent to Common Tator by freepmail.
Grin...yes, they are coming out of the subdued way they were acting after being spayed earlier this week.
You're welcome. Again, I don't think there was anything wrong with what either of you wrote, and I sure as heck am a big proponent of free speech, but you're right that the Dose is not the place for such discussions.
Then they're recovering very well. When I'm home, one of our cats likes to curl up in my lap...even though the laptop is usually there. It makes it very awkward to type.
I feel SO honored! I got five pings today. LOL! Cats! They're such little dickens. Remind me to tell you about the time my daughter's cat called me and woke me up at six o'clock in the morning, on a HOLIDAY.
My old cat will curl up nearby when I'm on the computer, but the two 8-month-olds have to wander all over the place. Back and forth across the keyboard. On top of the computer. Snooping into whatever I might have for a snack. They are total pills. ;-)
Thanks hope that was not a troll at 180
Just seen your post re explanation for 180
LOL! I wonder if there's a qualitative difference between kitty pings and people pings. ;-)
As I write this, one walked across the keyboard to my right. The other started to walk across the other way then changed her mind when I started laughing.
Remind me to tell you about the time my daughter's cat called me and woke me up at six o'clock in the morning, on a HOLIDAY.
Grin...I'm reminding you now.
Hi snugs. No troll, just a political discussion. Nothing wrong with it, in my opinion, but we do try to keep such discussions off the Dose.
Toaster winner - what would you like on it?
Awww...yeah, our two younger cats (they're a year and a half) like to get into EVERYTHING. For some reason, they have a strange obsession with the laundry room. They also like to try to run into my room every time I'm home. I guess because the door's always closed so they can never go in any other time. It makes it very complicated to get my stuff in my room if I'm trying to keep them out at the same time.
They do seem to get into everything.
My daughter's cat walked across the instant dial and hit my number. I got up and answered the phone. Nobody there. Back to bed. Phone rang again. Got up and answered the phone. Nobody there. Phone rang again. Etc. The fourth time my husband answered the phone and yelled at it. No more calls. I never got back to sleep, and dragged all day.
My daughter never knew what her cat had done, but was awakened by the sound of a man's voice yelling. Half asleep, she hit the button to hang up, and had the nerve to go back to sleep.
She realized that was her father yelling at her when she got the phone bill with four calls to us on the 4th of July.
She said we couldn't be mad at her cat because it was the very first long distance call he'd ever made.
Lol! Maybe the cat wanted to talk to someone... :)
