Hmmm... when was this? We had some bad storms over the course of January.

I do remember seeing a news report of a tornado in London, or some English city.

Maybe a month ago or a little more. I think I heard London & Brighton. Often I am cooking during the 6 pm news and missed bits.

This looked brutal and I have the impression it was going on more than just one day. The ground was icy and winds appeared to be beyond gale force. Men and women were holding onto things for dear life and every one of them had their feet blown out from under them. I understand there was a fair amount of property damage.

It was the ice and wind that got to me. People out in it were helpless.

At least you were subject to it...
