I agree...but then I guess the reality is that even heroes go out in non-heroic ways sometimes...and they DO get killed. That's the reality of life.IMO, he WAS being a hero to the soldiers under him who had been murdered by Fayed. I get the reason they need to work with him but I also understood why Curtis could not. Some things cannot be put aside.
Maybe Curtis is not dead. Kinda like ABC's All My Children. They just keep coming back.
If you want to see some real edgy stuff WRT the choices we have to make to stop terrorism, go back and look at the previous series these guys did: "La Femme Nikita".
They do get killed but Curtis was a guy who would get missions done in spite of difficulties. To have him revert to a personal beef when there was a nuke in play made no sense in so far as his character. Out of respect to his character I thought he should have died in the field or even trying to stop the nuke. Jack could have been sprurred to get back in the game 100% losing a comrade instead of having to kill him himself.
I understand what they were trying to do but there was a better way to do it.
