Hi, sweet O ~~ are ya warm enough? Got the fire going? The "feels like" is 14 here .. ;(, but thankfully, the sun's out.
I really love fireplaces .. had one growing up ... hours sitting there as a young teenager, staring into the fire, listening to Johnny Mathis .. dreaming about some cutie .. LoL .. I mean HOURS. Dumbbunny .. ;)

Good afternoon!!!Indeed it is! I have networks now. I was playing around with some of the features of my receiver last night, and come across a channel called "DirecTV News Mix", it's got six news channels in windows, and when I press the red button on my remote, I can see which shows are being watched the most in my time zone or nationwide, and it's updated every minute.

Nope, no Tivo. It's a pretty little box. Silver to match my DVD/VCR player and HDTV set, and has a bright blue power light on the front.

I do have some functionality to search for programs by title, person in the show, keywords, and "interests", and then set it to autotune to the shows I saved when those shows are one. LOL

I tried that autotune feature last night. Watched M*A*S*H and Seinfeld. LOL
I got a few episodes of American Chopper on later today.

With that red button, that's how I found out the golden globes were on last night. When you highlight a show title in the top ten viewed shows at that moment, it will tune over there unless it's not in your package.

Nope. When the house was built, fireplaces here used coal. They were long ago sealed up and only two have gas logs.
