The ideal of the SC exists, but whether or not it will triumph in real life is another matter entirely. The last line of defense for Americans in this country has and always will be... Americans. In moments when our government seems bent on utter totalitarianism, our society begins to understand the meaning of freedom in its truest sense... and what it means to lose it.
