Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton last night ripped into 2008 White House contender John Edwards - her first direct assault on any of her potential Democratic presidential rivals. Clinton's surprising broadside came just hours after Edwards, in Harlem, delivered a sharp condemnation - clearly aimed at Clinton, although he didn't mention her by name - against those who fail to "speak out" against the war in Iraq.
"Silence is betrayal, and I believe it is a betrayal not to speak out against the escalation of the war in Iraq," Edwards told a crowd at Manhattan's Riverside Church, where Martin Luther King had declared his opposition to the Vietnam War...... Edwards' hit on the front-runner for the Democratic nomination was not lost on the Clinton camp, which sees criticism from the Iraq war opponents as one of the major threats to her expected campaign for the presidential nomination......Clinton now faces a double-barreled threat from two charismatic contenders, Edwards and Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.). Edwards has recanted his 2002 vote for the resolution authorizing the Iraq war.......Last month, in an appearance on the "Today" show, Clinton went farther she ever had, saying, "Obviously, if we knew then what we know now, there wouldn't have been a vote, and I certainly wouldn't have voted that way."

LOL---beautiful.
"No ethics"?
These People's Progressive Democratic Party are multi-cultural, haven't you learned that yet? They can adopt any principle, at any time, or reject any at a whim!
Yesterday's Nazi: ends-justify-the-means, principle has been adopted as part of that multi-culturalism and which allows them to act out as traitors during a time of war; while hiding behind the 1st Amendment . . .
I just knew that when he decided NOT to make a run for president, that he has made some sort of deal with Hillary.
I am calling it now, he will be her VP candidate if she wins the nomination.
Oh!...I forgot, Shrillary can't be w/the...."underachieving unwashed little People"....Only w/Generals in sterile conditions with a fawning MSM.
The Dim version of "equality"----the Constitution prevails, but it applies to some of us more than it does to others.
Hillary should be nervous. JohnE is prettier than she is, by far.
The Republican candidates ought to take this page from Hillary's book and focus on her instead of each other.
It will minimize the self-inflicted Republican wounds, and eliminate any potential ammunition we might provide to the Dems.
They give each other lessons on how to con the electorate.

See reply #36.
That's not the USSS. It's a Praetorian Guard.
Yes, he was saying "I flipped, then I flopped" and she's saying "I flipped, but I didn't get the chance to flop." And the liberals lap it up.
Very powerful election tool!
I see that the bar for charisma has been lowered.
Charisma, deviancy...Low friends in high places.
Classic picture, ranking right up there with the "RATS" picture from a few years ago. LOL!
Wonder if the pics were like Kerry having lunch by himself.
A good Dem slugfest bodes well for the conservative side of the aisle, I think.
