Claims to be a member of the NRA but won't say when he joined. (I'll go out on a limb and guess within the past 2.5 years.) On Monday he claimed to own a gun, now says he doesn't.
Mein Gott in Himmel, does Romney think he has a chance?

Some people are deluded enough to think he has a chance.
The same way they believe gun grabbing rudy has a chance.

Whatever happens with my support for Mitt, it has never, will not, and will never, be influences one IOTA by the Boston Glob. The Boston Glob has been out of my life since terminating my subscription some umpteen years ago, and won't ever even crawl its way back in.

The Boston Globe wants him to be a RINO now so that republicans don't nominate him.
If nominated, the Globe will want him to seem as radically right-wing as possible.

In 1967, Gov Ronald Reagan signed the Mulford Act which prohibited the carrying of firearm's on one's person or in a vehicle, in any public place or any public street.
Later, he supported the Brady Bill. "I support the Brady Bil...and I urge the Congress to enact it without it without further delay." March 28, 1991
Sometimes people make mistakes. In some cases people do honestly change their opinions. In either case, they can still make good Presidents as was the case with Reagan.

"I have a gun of my own. I go hunting myself. I'm a member of the NRA and believe firmly in the right to bear arms," Romney said. Asked by reporters at the gun show Friday whether he personally owned the gun, Romney said he did not.Mistake, pandering or lies?

No serious candidate, Democrat or Republican, is going to run on a pro-gun control platform, period.

Anyone who frames his comments with "hunting" has a long way to go to become convincing.

I don't hunt or own a gun. Can you explain what you mean?
