Bush is right about Saddam as well as many mistakes being made. Those mistakes can be fixed and I believe will be now that the gloves are off as far as coddling Sadr and Al-Maliki.
I sure hope the gloves are really off. We need to know who put them on in the first place.
It's called WAR. It's not a boardgame. Mistakes are always made in war. The situation keeps changing. That is why we have generals to give advice.
I want Maliki to personally cut off Mookie Al Sadr's head live... or I don't believe him.

Read on FR (see below) that it looks like the Kurdish Peshmerga is mobilizing to join in the fight in Baghdad. I hope the Peshmerga put a knife in Sadr's bellybutton.
