Oh...okay, that explains the hat he had on!!

In the press conference just re-shown on FoxNews, Shawn also had on a Fire Dept. black hoodie sweatshirt with Craig Akers' name and "First Responder" lettered on it. The fact that Shawn has asked to be adopted - finishing the process/paperwork that apparently was started four years ago until his kidnapping - speaks volumes.

God has worked some major miracles in this double-recovery, due to the observations of a young teenager (Mitchell Hults) who had the common sense to jump in his own vehicle after he saw a stranger driving a strange (unknown) vehicle in his own neighborhood and then report all the details he managed to observe, plus the hard-working law enforcement personnel and, yes, even the local media working overtime to get this story out on their local stations.

Hello,

It is indeed a miracle. Because Shawn's parents were so determined to never give up, his story was never far away from our minds. His picture is still all over this area, so we (the residents of St. Louis) never forgot him. It is a testament to the bravery of his parents that when the news broke that Shawn had been found, we all knew immediately who he was.

Question, I didn't hear the part about his hopping in his own vehicle, what was that all about?
